Elden Clown Posted August 21, 2023 Share Posted August 21, 2023 The amount of things I could say about Baldur's gate 3 and I'm only now reaching act 3. I am sitting at 377 hours of playtime with two different playthroughs going and the sheer difference between the two is something I've never seen in a game honestly. I feel like I haven't even dented into the surface of what the game has to offer in choices of party dynamic alone and I can't even begin to describe the branches they've done. I really need someone to talk to about this game with help. Problem is that Ubisoft seems defiantly against actually making Assassins Creed games. It’s always gotta be some stupid gimmick, like "Assassins… but actually Vikings!", "Assassins… but you run a gang this time!", "NO Assassins in this one, just Greek heroes fighting literal monsters!", etc. Mirage looks like the first actual Assassins Creed game in well over a decade, so it’s got my attention. 2 * Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Part of the reason I struggle playing it is how vast it is and I don't want to just focus on the story so at least for me it'd add replay making me choose what stuff to focus on more or something. Couldn't have said it better myself. Glad I’m not the only one. I don’t even hate every entry that’s like I’m describing. I think Black Flag has some of the best character writing in the series and was legitimately innovative with some of its naval mechanics, so props to it for that; it’s a great pirate game. But as far as AC goes, I want more emphasis on stealth, planning routes, using tools and the environment, etc. You know, a game about assassinating.
