Resident Evil and Wooden Dialogue is like two peas in a fucking pod XD

It’s not the dialogue that’s bad but the voice acting. And both have come a long way since the 90s. The Remakes have been much better, and Ada’s voice acting was good in the last game she appeared in.

I also understand and kinda agree with that point about how media likes to portray Asian woman in a sort of way

I couldn’t care less about that. Ada’s an established character with a well-defined (and frankly, badass) personality. It’s not the actor’s place to change that because playing a suave kickass female James Bond somehow hurts her feefees. Shouldn’t have taken that role, then. Plus, it’s not even negative! XD I don’t see Ashley’s VA crying that they made the blondie a naive airhead.

Besides, Ada is still written to have that personality even in the remake. The dialogue I’ve seen is fine; it’s just the voice actress who gives a dry, emotionless delivery even where it doesn’t fit.

But for once, she didn't make any comment till now (barring closing her Instagram account), so it seems like the trolls started it.

Making fun of bad voice acting is hardly what I’d call trolling.

Assuming all of this is true (and I can believe it, seen the exact thing with lots of companies these last few years), it’s no wonder Bethesda proper hasn’t released a game in eight years and counting.

Most hilarious part is Pete giving himself a new title that doesn't mean anything XD

I work with a Brit who started working remotely during the plandemic days. After a year of it, he proceeded to sell his house and move permanently to his vacation home in Florida. Nowadays, he’s got no clue what goes on anymore ("works" from his laptop) and is no longer good for shit, but he still draws one of the biggest checks in the entire organization.

Can’t stand the guy. Plus he smells really bad.

Huge improvement. Really like some of the ideas in here, like forming a General's Staff (which means actual characters!), gaining the support of Diamond City, Goodneighbor, and V81, and how you’ve got the Minutemen slowly growing in specific ways and stages based on what locations they have occupied and resources they have acquired. I also like the final option to reform the CPG and influence what form it will take.

To nitpick, it does feels like the Institute are a bit of an afterthought. I think the Gunners need a new angle in the story to merit taking center stage as the most prominent villains.

I can totally believe this for reasons involving stuff no one else cares about lol but yea they’re milking the fuck out of what they do currently have and not just Skyrim

I wanna know what the art was tho

Would be curious. There has been a lot of art commissioned for ESO so it’s easy to see how this might’ve happened.

I miss the days when almost all of the art was done in-house. Had more identity to its style back then and obviously no plagiarism. Between their main artist dying and Jeremy Soule getting canceled and retiring, they have lost a lot of artistic talent since Skyrim.

What a load of Bull, only resolution is to pay before you get sued

Hopefully that’s what they mean when they say they contacted the artist to reach a proper resolution. I can understand a company as big as Zenimax making the mistake of outsourcing to someone untrustworthy. Crap happens. But once it does, you’ve gotta make it right.

Kind of like another Fantasy series we all play XD

The institute really is basically an after thought. The way I’m going about it is with no alterations to the other factions and there’s just not much that can be done that way. Especially because I’m still trying to give the choice to be a member of the BoS, railroad, institute etc.

the reason the gunners are the center stage is because they should’ve been all along. With Quincy and all that shit it should have. I’m also giving some thought to expanding the gunners as well. Like doing a gunner quest line possibly as a mirror of the Minutemen. But that way to ambitious for my entirely to ambitious idea already when I barely know how to make a simple fetch quest, much less branching dialogue or quest lines lmao. But if I do get to a point where I feel I could do it, I’ll ask for your assistance in writing if you’d be up for it

Oh, that’s way worse than some OOG promo art like I thought. It’s actually in the game!  So much for third party. Yeah, Zenimax, one of your people screwed the pooch. XD

Probably happens a lot when you’ve got a live service MMO type game with endless deadlines to constantly put out new designs to monetize.

Its probably a huge pain because they probably have to rely on a ton of outsourcing.

I'd be HINT HINT

untitled-design-1677853540677.png

But, as you said, combining the liveservice and MMO approach means you need a constant stream of art assets practically 24/7, which would work an in-house art team to exhaustion and collapse pretty quickly,

They should, however, be more mindful XD

You know, for such a hugely prominent figure as Vyke, being the central figure on the cover, spotlight in concept art, etc. He'd be more prevalent in game.

Before the player, he nearly became Elden Lord. Probably responsible for killing a bunch of the nameless demigods. Was the most powerful of the dragon cult of Leyendell, probably banged a dragon.Tried to save his maiden from kindling. Lost himself to frenzy, but without inheriting it. Gouged out his eye and cured himself of the frenzied flame. Then trapped himself in an Evergaol.

That's about his full story that we know of

I actually love how such a well detailed character in the lore was pretty much an afterthought in your journey; there's so many heroes who walked the same path as you, but you only see the end of there journey, makes the world feel that much bigger.

I kinda wish Beth would take that approach a bit sometimes.
