@The Good Doctor M'lord, which Novigrad quests should I do in order? I have like three ones at the same time, unless they're each branching paths that auto fail the others.

Could be wrong, but I don’t think any of them autofail the others.

Typically, your best bet is to always do side quests first, then main quests in ascending order from lowest recommended level to highest.

Unfortunately the side quests are marked in red, saying the enemies are too strong XD

Then save them for later and just do the ones that you reasonably can. The MQ will have you return to Novigrad in later Acts of the game, so some of the side quests may be intended for then.

That's probably why some of them are level 25-30

I've done numerous side quests in the city at and much lower than my current level of 13

Probably. If the quest level is higher than the Skellige quests in your journal, then it’s intended for later.

Definitely. Make it like Caesar’s Legion where they start out neutral but become hostile after you either attack them or become known for siding with their enemies.

Would be cool if the game actually played with the philosophical differences between the factions like in New Vegas. Give Lyons, Autumn, and Eden dialogue to explain their points of view and the worlds they hope to create.

  Reveal hidden contents

Lyons is the idealist humanitarian with no ambitions to govern or rule. He tries to see the good in people and trusts the natives to develop on their own with the BoS hanging around to deal with threats, preserve information and technology, and keep the clean water flowing. Downside being that many of the natives are violent raiders and most of the remainder have regressed significantly in terms of education and technology, so his trust in them may be a little misplaced. The BoS will try to help by guiding and teaching what they can, but it is a slow and thankless process that Lyons knows he will not live to see the fruits of.

Autumn is more cynical about the wastelander natives, seeing them as sad, regressed barbarians who need the Enclave to bring order into their lives. As a lifelong military officer, his idea of order would be more akin to a martial law than the traditional Old World American government. Where Lyons might trust the natives too much, Autumn wouldn’t trust them at all, his thinking being that it will take generations of strict Enclave rule for the people to outgrow their savagery. But outgrow it they will. The firm hand of the Enclave would force order and progress.

Eden would stand for the true American system as intended by the Founding Fathers, with none of the BS that it developed into before the war, no greedy corrupt politicians, no government-backed mega corporations, and no international enemies. A second attempt at the great American experiment, but this time done right. Problem is, his logic matrices have concluded that this can only be achieved by wiping the slate clean of all mutants, raiders, and "dissident squatters" like the BoS and Rivet City who have tried to establish their own "rogue countries" on American soil. And so he plans to poison the water with his modified FEV, kill almost everyone, and signal an "all call" to vaults across the East, ordering any surviving residents to prepare for an Enclave dispatch to arrive at their locations and escort them to D.C. so that they can become the first citizens of the New United States and replace the thousands of natives that he killed.

Additionally, give an alternate 4th option where you side with the Brotherhood and everything plays out the same, except you assist the Outcasts in overthrowing Lyons and restoring the Codex. This results in a similar ending to the Lyons one, except after defeating the Enclave, the BoS will disassociate themselves from the natives, leaving Project Purity to be run exclusively by Rivet City while they focus their efforts entirely on R&D for the trove of Enclave tech that they have secured. They will not go out of their way to deal with raiders or mutants unless they pose a direct threat to the BoS or possess advanced technology, in which case they will be destroyed with extreme prejudice.

In addition to all this, it would add a cool personal element to it if Eden promised you Autumn’s life up front if you agree to carry out his plan. Like Caesar offers you revenge against Benny, he would call Autumn to a room, lock the doors, and ask you how you want your father’s murderer to be killed. Choice is yours.

But before that, while speaking to you privately at Raven Rock, Autumn would try a lot harder to explain his position, what he wants to do with the world, and perhaps even offer condolences and say that he never would’ve killed your father and deprived the world of such a brilliant mind. It was all a bluff and he did not expect James to go crazy and cause the radiation spike that resulted in his death. The situation got out of control and he considers it a shame. This would indicate the strict authoritarian manner in which he would typically interact with Wastelanders who don’t instantly play ball.

Up to you if you forgive him or not, or whether you’re willing to look past it in order to support the world he wants to build.

Goddamn, the Triss torture was brutal. And we never even saw it happen, devs know how to make the player squirm.

Probably not the best option, but I tolerated it for the sake of information. :(

oof

Definitely a tough scene to get through. The voice actress sells the pain really well.

This sentiment has been rising in Missouri for the last several years. County Sheriffs have been straight up refusing to allow FBI audits on civilian gun ownership, and the District Attorney Eric Schmitt has actually kept his word about having their backs.

It’s a little sad that this feels so good when it’s really how the government was always supposed to work, protecting innate rights rather than claiming the power to assign or recant them. But I gotta say, it does give me some pride in my state for doing at least one thing right.

I met Eric Schmitt a few months ago. Of all the issues discussed, the one that he seemed to be personally very passionate about was indeed the 2A rights of gun owners. He went out of his way to bring it up even when it wasn’t the topic of discussion. XD

How good is bleed in Witcher 3? Just found a sword that does 50% more crit damage, 5% crit chance, 35% bleed chance but does about 12 damage less then my stupid weeb stick.

Steel sword by the way

Give it a try and find out!

All of my builds since the release of Blood and Wine have been NG+ and therefore based around mutagens, which can drastically affect how you play. So what works for me won’t necessarily work for you. My current (and favorite) build is reliant on landing hits to heal, and kills most things in very few hits, so I lose out on some free HP if bleed kills the enemy before I can land a final blow.

That said, without that in effect, I feel like I recall bleed being pretty strong.

How Geralt solves every problem: "Just go to Kaer Morhen lol"

Turns out that hiding at a remote mountain fortress in a secret location is actually a pretty good strat. XD

Regular ass wraiths are seriously annoying to fight. What's the best way to counter their cheese?

Lay down trap and just wait in the middle for them to come to you, slap them as much as you can without opening yourself, return to center, rinse and repeat. I think there is a bomb that is good against them too but I can’t remember which.

Wraiths are annoying. Second most annoying mob after the damn spider things in Blood and Wine.

They must have nerfed it, because they teleport inside the trap just fine and do the three hit combo instantly.

The main advantage is that they take more damage inside it.

If the combo is giving you trouble, try dodge rolling with instead of sidestepping. Will do more to put you out of range.

So long story short; Lily Gao was chosen to reprise her role from the Return to Racoon City movie for Ada in the Remake.

I personally didn't think she did a bad job at all; but it isn't an oscar worthy performance by any means. Its a decent fit for the hardened Ada who isn't bothering to be pretend to be the good guy anymore, but she sounds a little like she smokes a pack of cigarettes a day. But there's a ton of vile, racist shit being thrown at her, so the immense overreaction is super uncalled for in my opinion

Anyways, some people, went crazy about this, alongside...a certain something they did with Ashley.

Games getting review bombed now by bots, and it's pretty unfortunate that the whole shitty discourse is now coming to the series.

Considering the game has a 10/10 on steam reviews, and Capcom just announced the game sold 5 million copies in a couple days, hopefully the ignore the screaming from that crowd XD

You don’t have to be so nice. XD From the scenes I’ve watched, she is an absolute plank of wood. Terrible as Ada, especially when they had a perfectly good VA for the character in the RE2 Remake.

Based on her whiny soapbox of a post, my guess is the actress couldn’t handle the legitimate criticisms, complained about it, and got on her high horse, and then the trolls started coming out of the woodwork because that’s what they always do to insecure celebrities who try preaching at them. Sucks, but that’s the internet for you.

Agreed that the Ashley stuff is a little weird, though. I’m all for some eye candy, but that’s a strong reaction to missing out on some creepy upskirts. Her voice and dialogue seem way more realistic and less "anime" than before. Probably upset the weebs.

Shame this stuff’s hurting the game’s ratings. I’ve heard very little bad from anyone who’s played it. Seems like an excellent remake.

Resident Evil and Wooden Dialogue is like two peas in a fucking pod XD

Anyways I'm not disagreeing the posts reeks of... self-importance, but as a fellow slant eye; I also understand and kinda agree with that point about how media likes to portray Asian woman in a sort of way XD Though it's kind of hilarious she seems to be refering to the OG RE4 which was made by fellow Asians XD

But for once, she didn't make any comment till now (barring closing her Instagram account), so it seems like the trolls started it.

Really minor, but I love the way all the (male XD) mages look. Some of them rock an armored Italian look, others a desert fashion mixed with Italo-Norman.

Point is it's unique and I dig it. I was also more happy than I should have been seeing that no-name half-armored mage from when Geralt first went to meet the King of Beggers made it to the hideout

Man had about as many lines as OG Boba Fett but I instantly gravitated towards the character.

Edit: Female mages look too skimpy for me to take seriously :P
