Probably realized they didn't need a middle-man anymore I'd imagine Bandai wasnt too thrilled but didnt want to risk there buisness relationship. They recently announced a restructuring because they were losing money thanks to all the anime shovelware they've been producing. Miquella and Godwyn both get big focus. The former seems to be a given as he is on the poster, probably as our "ally" or "quest giver" who might betray towards the end.
